Atelier cvds or Chantal van der Slikke is a textile designer. She is focused on technique research in weaving. She explores how you can turn a normally flat surface in a 3D textile. Chantal is skilled at handweaving. A big part of her design practice is colour, this can make or break a design for her. A big part of the yarn she uses she dyes herself.

Chantal graduated in 2022 from the SintLucas in Boxtel, where she studied design and craftsmanship following the specialisation in textile. Here she fell in love with textiles, Chantal decided to expand her knowledge on textile at Kunstacademie Maastricht. Where she graduated in 2026, here she studied Design following the specialization in material with a focus on textiles.
